Inauguration of newly established MSME Info-Call Centre at NSIC Corporate Office New Delhi

| The newly established MSME Info-Call Centre at NSIC Corporate Office, New Delhi was inaugurated by Shri K.M. Chandrashekhar, Hon’ble Cabinet Secretary, Government of India on 6th March 2009. Shri Dinesh Rai, Secretary (MSME), Govt. of India, Shri Prabhat Kumar, Ex-Cabinet Secretary, Govt. of India, Shri. H.P. Kumar, CMD, NSIC and other Senior Officers of Govt. of India were also present. The MSME Info-Call Centre has been setup with a view to enhance the service delivery to existing customers and further spread its reach to potential SMEs. The Centre is expected to play a significant role in spreading the awareness of various schemes and programmes to the Micro, Small and Medium enterprises in the Country and attend to their queries with regard to such schemes. |

Agreement of Mutual Cooperation between NSIC and Government of Republic of Benin

| An Agreement of Mutual Cooperation between NSIC and Government of Republic of Benin for the development of SMEs was signed on 4th March 2009 at New Delhi in the presence of Dr. Manmohan Singh, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and Mr. Boni Yayi, Hon’ble President of the Republic of Benin. The MOU was signed by Dr. H.P. Kumar, CMD, NSIC and Mr. Jean-Marie EHOUZOU, Minister of Foreign Affair, African Integration, Francophone and Beninese Overseas. |

| MOU between NSIC and MSME, Democratic Republic Congo |
| An Agreement of Mutual Cooperation (MoU) has been entered into between NSIC and Ministry of Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt. of Democratic Republic of Congo on 22nd January, 2009 at NSIC office, New Delhi, India. During the MoU signing ceremony, H.E. Claude BAZIBUHE NYAMUGABO, Hon’ble Minister of SMEs had expressed his willingness to set up Incubator Centre in DRC at the earliest possible. It was also discussed that in order to ascertain / selection of suitable projects, a feasibility / opportunity study in DRC is required to be carried out by a team of NSIC officials. On the request of Hon’ble Minister and as per the spirit of MoU, it was decided that a team of NSIC officials would be deputed to conduct the above feasibility / opportunity study in DRC. |

Establishment of “Marketing Hub” in NSIC Exhibition Complex, New Delhi.
NSIC has constructed its own Exhibition Complex cum Display centre at Industrial Estate Okhla, New Delhi. Regular Exhibitions of national and international repute are being organized successfully at this complex. Some of the prominent exhibitions/events organized at this complex in recent past are “Garmentch International Expo”, “Tool Tech”, Everything about Water”, Aroygaya”, “Index Fair”, “Adventure Tourism”, etc. besides immensely popular event like Indian Idol Finale, Sonu Nigam Night, Meet & Greet Khali, etc. have been organized.
